Wildman Whitewater Ranch is a unique outdoor adventure resort located directly on the famous ROARING RAPIDS section of the Peshtigo River. We are close enough to Milwaukee and Chicago for a weekend getaway. The mighty Peshtigo River provides an amazing backdrop for this retreat nestled within the old growth hemlock forest of the Northwoods.
The Ranch has PRIVATE ACCESS to one mile of river frontage along the rapids. This means that you can hike and scout the rapids before you go rafting. We are the only outfitter that can give you the choice to portage and rerun the most exciting rapids with out trespassing onto private property. Our lightweight Thrillcats makes this an easy effort. During summer periods of lower water levels you can spend more 'play time' in the rapids and takeout right at the Ranch, avoiding the rocky section downstream.

River Forest Rafts and Campground was established in 1972. It is still a family business. We offer a variety of day and weekend trips from two-eight hours. With a price range from $12.75 - $43.00 per person. There is a weekend package available including a raft trip and two days of camping. The raft trip is 12 miles long and has six sets of rapids the package cost is $35.00 per person.
Our spacious campground is located on a beautiful
37 acre wooded park. We have fire pits and picnic tables
at every site. Flush toilets and individual tiled showers are
available. Our on-site store has firewood, ice, beer, soda,
munchies, basic supplies, souvenirs, etc.
